More Art Journal Pages

Here are some of those art journal pages that I have been working on. None of them have any actual journaling at the moment but they will in the very near future! I try to keep a handful ready to journal on at a moments notice.
I added one that had not been colored ( or painted) yet so you can see it before all the color work. I draw my inspiration from several different places...nature, source books, people, inanimate objects, animals, my family, dreams...so many different places!
Just look around you and you will see all kinds of really cool patterns and designs. Even if you model your drawings after another person, if you will just keep on drawing you will eventually come up with your "own art". Try it! Email me if you have any questions, I'm always so happy to share anything that I have learned!

Hi Carol,
These are just about the cutest thing I have ever seen! You should offer a class online because people would love this---I love this---I would take your class. Speaking of online classes, I will be developing one with brush lettering with the Zig markers and have been accepted into the "Creative Workshops" ning site. I am excited and a bit nervous. We'll see how it goes!

You need to publish these for people who cannot doodle or draw but want to join in the journal thing. lots of color and lines to write. They can even add their own little doodle or color on the sides.
What ya think? Jane

I agree with Random Notes...have you thought of sending some of your pages to a publisher? They're wonderful! What did you use for your background colors (as in the gold in #2)? Are these made using watercolors? Beautiful.
